Magnificent Monday

7th March 2022

Another stunning day in the North West but the wind was brutal and biting – don’t let the photo’s fool you.  The easiest decision today was when to apply crampons and that was as soon as you hit the first bit of snow.  Unforgiving underfoot conditions and I kept my crampons on until I left the snow and that was after the top surface (finally) started to soften.  We still have good snow cover in the North West if you look in the right places.
