There was low cloud and fog in the glen this morning with a wonderful calm and blue sky day higher up on the hill. Softer snow at lower levels but on the summits the snow pack is very firm and really only softening at higher levels where it is directly influenced by the sun shine. The winds are turning more North-Easterly so temperatures will lower and the generally well bonded and stable snow pack should firm up to lower levels.
