Deja Vu

20th February 2015

A repeat day of sunshine and showers. The snow showers were mostly light, drifting across Torridon on a fresh Westerly wind. As yesterday, there is a fresh accumulation of snow down to around 400 metres. Spindrift was observed blowing off exposed summits and ridges in the strengthening winds as a shower approached. The walking conditions are good but the ice has taken a hammering. The cloud hugged the summits most of the day.
