Another melt freeze cycle.

With the freezing level above the summits and heavy rain last night the snow pack is much depleted, some wet snow instabilities are lingering on high coire rims and gully tops but in general the snow pack is consolidating and becoming well bonded and more stable. I was sheltered out of the wind today and it was pleasant enough at lower altitudes with some fine bright periods. Higher up the wind was strong South-Easterly.
