The Hills are Bare
24th January 2017
We are now in a warm, moist airflow from the South with strengthening winds, varying amounts of cloud and insignificant precipitation. This will persist for a couple of days before it cools, but staying mainly dry for a few days more. Good news for rock climbers! Following on from the Golden Eagle sighting yesterday (see Torridon Blog 23-01-17), today I drove below an immature Sea Eagle scavenging along the shoreline of Loch Broom. Sorry, no out of focus photograph this time.
