Sunshine in Torridon
6th March 2026
It was a dry, sunny day with a moderate South-South-Westerly wind. After a frosty night the freezing level rose to above the summits in the afternoon. There was noticeable thawing of yesterdays fresh snow in the sun but the older snowpack remained very firm.

The flat rocky summit of Beinn a’ Chearcaill, a good viewpoint for the Torridon area.
Beinn Alligin form the South in the afternoon. Yesterdays dusting of snow disappeared quickly in the sun.
