Rain then snow

12th March 2026

Very heavy rain with storm force winds overnight cleared to give a mostly dry and slightly less windy day. Precipitation turned to snow as it cleared leaving a thin layer of fresh snow above around 700 metres.

Further snow is forecast overnight and through Friday with very strong South-Westerly winds overnight decreasing slightly through day.
