Wall To Wall Blue!

2nd April 2025

It is cloudless in the NW Highlands. Dry, warm and sunny, but still a chill to the air at summit levels combined with high UV levels. We’re talking mostly summer conditions in the mountains of the Torridon forecast area. There is a sliver of slowly thawing old snow in places, but you’d be hard pushed to stand on snow!

Below are a few panorama’s of the Fannaich mountains. Let’s play ‘spot the sliver of snow’!

(Above) Beinn Liath Mhor Fannaich (left) and the East face of Sgurr Mor.

(Above) Left to right; Sgurr breac, Toman Coinnich and A’ Chailleach.

(Above) A slightly different aspact of the same 3 mountains as previous photo.

(Above) The Great Wilderness mountains of (right to left) Sgurr Ban, Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair with Creag Rainich in the fore.

An Teallach.
