Garbh Choire Mor

3rd April 2025

Another dry, warm and cloudless day in the Fannaichs. A lovely cycle up the Loch Fannich hydro road into the southern Fannaich mountain of An Coileachan and into the classic spectacular coire of Garbh Choire Mor.

Fewer slivers of snow here than in the more central Fannaichs. The settled warm and dry conditions will persist and any remaining snow patches will slowly diminish. It’s currently summer conditions in the mountains of the NW Highlands.
