Fresh Easterly breeze

5th April 2025

It’s been another stunning day with cooler temperatures and a fresh Easterly breeze.  At glen levels the gorse smells of coconuts and is in full bloom.  At 500 metres a call from a plover could be heard as it flew past.

Ascending above the tree line in the Beinn Eighe Nature reserve, views of Slioch and Beinn Mhuinidh.

A superb viewpoint at 550m, of the East end of the Beinn Eighe massif, Meall a Ghiubhais to the right.

A closer look at the Eastern end of the Beinn Eighe Massif.

Descending to the Glen, Loch Maree and Slioch beyond.
