Bright sunny day

1st April 2025

It was a bright clear dry and mild day, which allowed me to see high on the Torridon hills.  There is very little snow remaining as the photos below will illustrate.  Some small snow patches do remain, mainly in high North to East facing gullies and coires.

These will continue to melt and diminish in the ongoing mild conditions, with freezing levels expected to remain well above all summits.

There is currently insufficient snow for an avalanche hazard and no avalanche reports will be published until conditions change. These blogs will continue to be published.
