What remains.
6th March 2025
It’s been quite a thaw the past few days. I went to the Fannichs today to see what was left. Encouragingly, there were still some snow patches, mainly on the Coire rims above 850 metres still hanging in.
Friday looks a nicer drier day, with freezing level hovering around summit level. Sunday looks the better day on the weekend, then it does look to go cooler next week, although it is forecast to stay fairly dry.
Creag Dubh in the mist, showing only streaks of snow around the Coire Rim.
The Fannich hills. Meall a Chrasgaidh, with Carn na Creche on the left.
