Cloudy summits

30th March 2025

It was a dry day, and after very strong winds overnight they gradually eased through the day. Very small residual patches of recent snowfall are hanging on, mainly on high North through East to South-East aspects. These are steadily thawing and will continue to do so with the freezing level well above the summits.

There is currently insufficient snow for an avalanche hazard and no avalanche reports will be published until conditions change. These blogs will continue to be published.
