More snow

A little more fresh snow arrived today, about 5cm had arrived in Kinlochewe by this morning although there was less in Achnasheen. A few more flurries during the morning and a more sustained spell of light snow this afternoon. Instabilities persist in the snowpack and shallow instabilities will develop on other aspects due to redistribution. More details in the report. Skiing was possible from the road to the summit of Fionn Bheinn today, snow is still soft and unconsolidated in many places and travel by foot would have still been hard work, a walker made it to the summit so it is possible! Good cover higher up with more heather and grass showing at lower elevations.
