Happy New Year

1st January 2025

It was a fine day to start 2025. Early snow showers died out to give a dry day with good visibility. There was less snow than forecast last night but more is forecast for the next 24 hours.

The pictures below give a good indication of the snow distribution but don’t show that the old, wet snow is becoming frozen and firm. Further freezing will result in some icy paths tomorrow.
