The cloud base was lower than the snowline this morning and Torridon looked snow free from the roadside. By early afternoon the cloud had lifted but most of the higher summits remained in the cloud.

Some thawing of the snowpack at lower elevations and some consolidation higher up but windslab remains a hazard, mainly above 900 metres.

The trig point on Spidean Coire nan Clach with a significant snow drift in front of it.

A couple of runners in Coire an Laoigh made the sensible decision to head back down when the snow got deeper and visibility dropped.

Sgorr nan Lochan Uaine, one of the few cloud free, snowy summits today.
