The sun always shines ….

After the early morning fog burnt off, it was another fine day in Torridon.  High cloud started to build around midday.  Temperatures still seemed high at midday today, 3.6 degrees at 867m.  It does look like summer thermals will need to be replace with winter woolies for the next few days.

Above: not too shabby a venue for today’s test site.  Note the footprint impressions showing that the snow hadn’t firmed up at this stage.  This is at 867m on an east aspect.
