Looking up to the North East face of Creag Dhubh from Kinlochewe. Morning cloud swirling around. The snow cover in this photo is very representative of the patchy cover here in Torridon.
Looking across at the very bare South aspect of Liathach.
Around 700m in Coire nan Clach.
Snow profile site at just over 700m on a South East facing aspect. The snow pack was surprisingly firm and icy even at this relatively low level. Easy to think Spring has arrived, but definitely some serious underfoot conditions for the unwary!
