The snowpack and weather today was very similar to yesterdays; little change! Some good bright and sunny spells in the afternoon gave great wintery views. Many folk out in the Fannaichs, either ski touring or walking. For walking read floundering!

(Above) Looking SW up a partly frozen over Loch a’ Bhraoin to the Torridon hills in the sunny distance.

(Above) Ice is beginning to form after many days of sub zero temperatures in the hills. Freezing level at midday was around 350m.

(Above) A view through to Sgurr nan Each with Sgurr nan Clach Geala on the left and Sgurr Breac on the left. Most of the day saw variable amounts of cloud clinging to the summits

Busy in the Fannaichs. An Teallach in the background.
