Wet and Mild

18th February 2017

Probably the most uncomfortable day so far this season – cloudy, wet, mild with a fresh South-Westerly and over two hours to get to the snow! The snow cover remains very patchy and wet. Maybe a dusting of new snow on the highest tops overnight, but it will quickly thaw as the temperatures rise well above the summits. Otherwise, more of the same.
