The calm after the storm!
9th January 2015
Less snow deposited in the mountains overnight than expected in the storm force winds.
Patches of old snow remain above 700m
Significant sized rocks were blown into the coire during previous nights storm
Ridges and tops are scoured clear of snow.
Even in the glen, winds reached 100mph with grass tangled in the power lines!
