A bright day between showers
16th January 2015
Heavy snow/graupel showers today running on a strong cold NW wind. High windchill – baltic! Hard going lower down on breakable crust but still snowfree areas visible, particularly on ridges and summits exposed to the recent winds. Lovely between the showers.

The usual view of Creag Dhubh, Beinn Eighe. It always clears on the way out! Fresh snow on Easterly aspects.

Spindrift in Coire Domhain. Windslab forming on a NE aspect with a NW wind? The influence of local topography.
