Thawing

10th January 2022

It was a mild day with the freezing level above the summits. Rain and strong Southerly winds were also speeding up the thaw.

The photos below show conditions fairly early this morning before the worst of the thaw. No later pictures due to a lowering cloud base and poor visibility.
