Out like a lamb …

31st December 2021

The last SAIS TO blog for 2021.  Any day in the hill is a good day but it’s always better when you have pretty views and calm conditions.  Yes, I’m sure we would all prefer the hills to have their winter coat on, but we’ve been here before and when the Weather God’s have had their dram tonight, I’m sure that they will be back with a bang.  Meantime, enjoy the photo’s from today.

Beinn Eighe and her subsidiary peaks.

The remaining snow patches on North through to East aspects on corrie rims and in natural depressions.

550m lochans still holding the ice (just) with the Fannichs in the background.

Slioch (980m)

This was the most ‘wintery’ it got today.

Wishing all readers a very Happy New Year,

The SAIS Torridon Forecasting Team.
