It felt cold in the glen this morning with fresh snow down to all levels. Since then its been a day of wintry showers and poor visibility on the tops. When there was sporadic brighter periods if felt warm in the direct sun shine with snow thawing quickly on the roads and lower hill paths. Nevertheless it still felt cool with the wind chill in the strong to gale strength NNW winds.

Creag Dhubh, Beinn Eighe, with snow erosion on windward slopes and where affected by local winds.

Variable visibility all day long!
