Gradual thaw continues

This morning was warm dry and clear with some cloud developing  during the afternoon. The snowpack continues to thaw, consolidate and gradually diminish.

Creag Dhubh, Beinn Eighe, the first snow is reached at about 500 metres with patchy cover until 650 metres, better above.

The peaks of Beinn Eighe, the snow was very firm on the summit ridge where the photo was taken.

The Fannichs with slightly better snow cover at higher elevations.
