This blog is intended to provide hazard and mountain condition information to help plan safer mountain trips.

A cold and clear day with only the very occasional summit cloud later. Some new shallow wind slab has accumulated onto South to South-West aspects affecting steeper terrain. Our forecast is for heavy showers with strong Northerly winds so we can expect much deeper accumulations of windslab developing overnight and tomorrow.

View down towards the village of Kinlochewe and the hills further to the East.
