Thawing snow

22nd January 2020

It was a damp day with a thawing snowpack, photos show the remaining snow we could see.

The remaining patchy snow cover in Coire Tuill Bhain and below the ridge crest of Creag Dubh.

Snow remaining on the East and North-East aspects of Meall a’Ghiubhais, where we did our snowpack observations today.

Looking across the Loch towards Slioch, which remained stubbornly hidden all day.

Debris deposited by the recent strong winds on the thawing snowpack.
