An improving day

6th February 2019

It has been very wet here in the glen overnight and this early morning but the day has improved gradually with no showers to speak of and some nice bright periods. There is quite a distinct snow line around 350 metres with little snow below and lots above. Trail breaking remains an issue.

First thing this morning it was quite difficult to be inspired.

But it cleared up quite well and there were hints of brightness.

Looking white.

On the ridge of Creag Dhubh (Beinn Eighe) it was quite windy and snow redistribution was obvious.

On the walk out it was bright and rather inspiring.
