Creag Dhubh, Beinn Eighe

Changeable on Creag Dhubh. Patchy and thawing snowpack. Most snow remains on North to East aspects above 800 metres, mainly summit slopes, ridge flanks and coire rims. Some cornices still present above steep slopes on East aspects.(Above)  Bright first thing on Beinn Eighe.(Above)  Creag Dhubh and snowy ridge leading to Sgurr nan Fhir Duibhe via the rocky towers of the Black Carls.(Above)  Clouding over with rain by mid morning. A dusting of fresh snow above 800 metres thawing as the temperature rises.Creag Dhubh in the afternoon.
