Windy!

Wind was the main feature of the weather today – very strong and gusty even at low levels. It’s hard to show wind in a photo so I’ve included 2 videos to try and show the effects. Apologies for the quality but I was getting blown around a fair bit too. It was also colder which means that the old wet snowpack is now frozen hard. There were a few showers mainly of graupel.

Beinn Eighe from the North-East

Very little snow on the South-West side of Slioch.

 

Waterfalls being blown back up the hill in the video above. The one below shows a heavy shower mainly of graupel being blown by the strong wind.
