Not Too Miserable

20th February 2016

A colder and drier day. Yesterday’s short sharp thaw diminished the snowpack.  Plenty of heavy snow showers today and considerable amounts of spindrift in the gale force westerly wind. But accumulations of fresh snow are surprisingly limited and localised, and areas of fresh snow were observed on unexpected aspects due to cross loading.
