Another World

5th January 2016

Such a contrast between being in the cloud and below the cloud – winter vs autumnal. More snow overnight and throughout the day than expected, particularly on the easternmost mountains, although amounts were small. However, with strong easterly winds and drifting, pockets of windslab was noted. The mountains further west were much brighter.

In the cloud. Summit Beinn Liath MhorFannaich, 954m, very high windchill.
