A day of contrasts and dramatic views. Fresh deposits of snow down to 750m but only a light cover. Diminishing snowpack after yesterday’s thaw, but refreezing above 800m with spindrift visible on exposed summit ridges.
Liathach. Good deposits of snow remain high up. Ice has gone from Pyramid Buttress!
