Cold with Blustery Showers

24th January 2015

Today we saw occasional glimpses of sun and bits of blue between heavy snow showers. Strong NW winds brought blasts of spindrift during the showers which made walking difficult at times. There is less snow on northerly aspects than expected, but certainly significant fresh accumulations of snow on NE to SE aspects. However, ice aplenty!
